This week on Friday, January 31, I had the opportunity to participate in a community event run by the school. Every year the Glenbard West fashion club host a fashion show in order to raise money for the kids at the Children’s Resource Center. With raffles, auctions, and ticket sales, the club every year is able to raise thousands of dollars to support these kids. This year I was able to model in the show to help fund raise. Being apart of this fashion show that supports kids who need it was super fun and rewarded me by making me feel like I made an impact. It was cool to see people in our school come together to make a difference in some children’s lives. In the future I will definitely try and attend more community and fundraising events like this one.
